Here at Southern Roots Land and Outdoor, we believe a great business is built the same way as a great landscape, with strong roots.
My name is Wesley Johnson, I am the face behind Southern Roots Land and Outdoor, but I am much more than that. I am a husband, a father and a hard working Mississippi local who believes that anything worth doing is worth doing right.
Southern Roots started from my desire to build something of my own while providing a service that people could genuinely depend on. What began with just lawn care has continued to grow into landscaping, property maintenance, and outdoor improvement services. If you were to ask me i’d tell you that I have one goal in mind when it comes to my services, “My goal is simply this, to provide dependable, honest, high quality outdoor services that customers love and can feel confident recommending to their friends and family.”
I take a lot of pride in being someone that you can depend on, someone who clearly communicates with customers and treating every property like it matters. For me this is about more than cutting grass or improving landscapes. It’s about building something that lasts for my family and continuing to be a business that my customers and community know they can count on. I am constantly learning and improving my skills to better serve you the customer and working to grow Southern Roots the right way, through hard work, quality service and a reputation people can trust.
We are locally based in Crystal Springs, Ms and proudly serve homeowners and businesses throughout the surrounding communities. From routine lawn maintenance and landscape cleanups to mulch, pine straw, shrub care, drainage, grading and property improvements, I approach each and every job with the same mindset: Do it right, communicate with the customer each step of the way and take pride in the finished product.
